Confident Energy
Rare Beauty Confident Energy Eyeshadow PaletteRare Beauty Confident Energy Eyeshadow Palette ($25.00 for 0.24 oz.) is a new, limited edition palette that features six, shimmery eyeshadows. It’s the brand’s first foray in powder products as well as full-on eyeshadows, and wow, I was impressed–they were intensely pigmented, creamy and blendable, and long-wearing. It was a real pleasure to use; no guesswork, no tricks, just eyeshadow that performed exactly as expected based on the brand’s claims.
Trust
Trust is a bright, light chartreuse that leaned slightly greener paired with a metallic finish. The texture was soft, smooth, and moderately dense with a bit of creaminess, but it wasn’t too thick or too firmly-pressed into the pan, so it was easy to use with a dry brush and had excellent adhesion and blendability. It lasted well for eight and a half hours before creasing faintly.
Ingredients

Elevate
Elevate is a bright, medium bluish-teal with a lightly sparkling, metallic finish. It was intensely pigmented with a smooth, creamy consistency that had some glide to it without being too thick or too dense/firmly-pressed into the pan.
I didn’t have any issues picking up product with a dry brush, and the product adhered well to bare skin. It stayed on nicely for eight hours before creasing slightly.

Strong
Strong is a rich, medium-dark brown with moderate, warm undertones and a metallic sheen. The eyeshadow had opaque color payoff that adhered well to bare skin with a smooth, even lay down of product that didn’t emphasize lid texture, despite having a slightly thicker, creamier consistency.
The product picked up well with a dry brush and diffused nicely along the edges. It wore well for eight and a half hours before showing signs of fading.

Gutsy
Gutsy is a medium-dark gold with moderate, warm undertones and a bright, metallic finish. The texture felt smooth, dense, and lightly creamy without being too slippery, so it adhered well to bare skin and didn’t turn patchy as I diffused and blended it out. It had rich pigmentation in a single layer, which lasted well for eight and a half hours before fading visibly.

Will-Power
Will-Power is a soft, almost white gold with a subtle, green-to-gold shifting pearl woven throughout a lightly, metallic finish. The texture was soft, smooth, and blendable with light creaminess and a moderate density to it, though it wasn’t quite as dense as the other five shades in the palette (just in comparison).
It had opaque pigmentation that applied well to bare skin as the eyeshadow spread and diffused without difficulty. This shade stayed on nicely for eight hours before fading noticeably.

Boost
Boost is a medium, orange-leaning coral with a subtle, peach-to-pink shift that gave it a pearly finish. It had rich color coverage in a single layer, which applied evenly to bare skin and blended out easily without losing its intensity. The texture was slightly denser, cream-like, and seemingly-thick in the pan, but it didn’t appear that way on my skin. It wore well for eight hours before creasing faintly.
