NRL player Troy Duggan has sadly passed away. Duggan played two NRL games, both for South Sydney in 2020 and had joined the Canabera on a two-year contract for the upcoming season. According to the reports, the NRL player Troy Duggan died after a motorcycle crash while on holiday in Crook Island.
The Playmakers' Management earlier sports group confirmed the news of his passing via a social media post on Christmas Day. Duggan, affectionately six years only. On behalf of the Duggan family, it is with a heavy heart that we share the news of TJ's tragic passing over the night. The statement from ARIA sports group read, he and his family were on holiday in Crook's Island where TJ was involved in a motorcycle crash. TJ will be greatly missed and our thoughts and prayers are with his family at these moments. He later joined Brisbane playing for the reserve grade affiliates north between 2018 and 2019. I will remember Duggan was an Australian schoolboy and NSW under-20s representative and well contracted at Parramatta, where he was named half back in 2016.
"On behalf of the Dargan family, it is with a heavy heart that we share the news of TJ's tragic passing overnight," a statement from Aria Sports Group read.
"He and his family were holidaying in the Cook Island (sic) where TJ was involved in a motorcycle accident.
"TJ will he (sic) greatly missed and our thoughts and prayers are with his family."
