Tiger Woods is "awake and responsive" following surgical procedure on critical leg accidents suffered in a automobile crash in Los Angeles on Tuesday.
The 15-time golf main champion, 45, needed to be "extricated from the wreck" by firefighters and paramedics.
An announcement printed on his Twitter account stated he had suffered "open fractures" to his decrease proper leg and ankle.
Accidents to his foot and ankle have been stabilised with screws and pins.
