Thunder, hail and rain bring relief from heat but damage roads, property | In pics

  • Roaring clouds, hailstorm and rain in Delhi and its neighbouring areas introduced relief from the sultry climate on Monday night but prompted huge visitors snarls, uprooting of bushes, damage to properties and flight diversions. At least two folks died in rain-related accidents within the capital metropolis. Winds of 50-100 kmph pummeled the nationwide capital and the temperature dropped from 40 levels to 25 levels Celsius within the span of an hour. At least eight flights have been diverted to Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Dehradun because of dangerous climate in Delhi. Flight operators, together with IndiGo and Vistara, took to social media to tell passengers in regards to the providers being affected as a result of climate.
