Three senior officers within the chief electoral officer’s (CEO) workplace in poll-bound West Bengal have been transferred by the Election Fee of India.
Amongst these transferred is extra CEO Saibal Barman, a senior IAS officer, who was accountable for essential wings corresponding to regulation and order and deployment of safety forces.
The opposite two officers are joint CEO Anamika Majumdar and deputy CEO Amitjyoti Bhattacharji. Whereas Majumdar taken care of administration of Digital Voting Machines (EVM) and coaching of ballot personnel, Bhattacharji was accountable for the media cell.
Barman had dealt with at the very least two Lok Sabha and two meeting elections within the state since 2011. Majumdar and Bhattacharji have been with the ballot panel since 2012 and 2013 respectively. It's also not clear but the place the three officers have been transferred.

A senior official mentioned that the state authorities has despatched an inventory of 9 officers from which the EC would choose the replacements.
