AUS vs IND Updates: The Indian cricket team is preparing to play its first match on 27 November on a nearly two-month-long Australian tour. Steve Smith is the biggest challenge before Team India to beat the Australia team. Team India is trying to thwart Smith with the help of short-pitch balls. But Australia’s assistant coach Andrew McDonald has made it clear that Indian bowlers will not succeed in their intentions.
Steve Smith did not manage to score a single century in five Tests played in the last home season. In the three-Test series played against New Zealand, Smith was seen troubled by short pitch balls. But McDonald believes that Smith is not afraid of these balls.

Macdonald said, “I don’t think this is a weakness. What do you think? Indian bowlers are preparing to trap Smith on short-pitched balls but they may fail this plan because Smith does not panic with such balls.” “The Indian bowlers have done it before and Smith has done well. I would suggest that this plan is definitely not going to work.”
AUS vs IND: Smith has proved himself on many occasions
Last year, in the Ashes series, Archer bowled fiercely in front of Smith. But Smith emerged as the highest run-scorer in that series.
Macdonald said that Smith has pulled out of a bad series against New Zealand. Smith had scored 98 and 131 runs in the ODI series during India’s tour earlier this year. Because of this too, McDonald feels that the short bowling strategy of Indian bowlers against Smith will not succeed.
