Suriya Soorarai Pottru 3rd highest rated movie in the world on IMDb – Socially Keeda

Kollywood actor Suriya starrer Soorarai Pottru, written and directed by Sudha Kongara, has set a world record for becoming the third highest rated film on IMDb. In addition to Suriya, the film also stars Paresh Rawal, Aparna Balamurali, Urvashi, Mohan Babu and Karunas. Currently, Soorarai Pottru is reviewing 9.1 on the site IMDb.

Released on November 12, 2020, Soorarai Pottru is based on the life of retired army captain GR Gopinath, founder of low-cost airline Air Deccan, and Suriya-starrer follows Nedumaaran Rajangam, aka Maara, on his journey to achieve his goals .

Suriya starrer Soorarai Pottru has been featured in IMDb’s top 1000 movies, scoring a 9.1 after the ‘Shawshank Redemption’ and ‘Godfather’ films.
