Singapore reports 1,761 new COVID-19 cases and 6 deaths; ICU utilisation rate rises to 56.6%

HOSPITALISATIONS

A complete of 1,161 cases have been warded in hospital. Among them, 199 required oxygen supplementation normally wards, 21 sufferers have been unstable and beneath shut monitoring within the ICU, and 58 have been critically unwell and intubated.A complete of 1,897 cases have been discharged over the previous day, of whom 329 have been seniors aged 60 and above. As of Friday, 94 per cent of the eligible inhabitants in Singapore - these aged 12 and above - have accomplished their full routine or acquired two doses of COVID-19 vaccines. About 25 per cent have acquired their booster photographs. Of the 66,231 cases over the past 28 days, 98.7 per cent had gentle signs or have been asymptomatic, whereas 0.8 per cent required oxygen supplementation within the common ward, 0.2 per cent have been within the ICU and 0.2 per cent died.

CLUSTERS

MOH mentioned it was "closely monitoring" two giant clusters. The cluster at Jenaris Home @ Pelangi Village has grown to 121 cases, comprising two workers members and 119 residents.
