Singapore-based information heart platform Digital Edge has introduced its acquisition of two information facilities in Tokyo, Japan.
The corporate has signed agreements to amass ComSpace I and ComSpace II, two fully-operational information facilities situated in downtown Nihonbashi and Shinjuku respectively, from Japan’s ARTERIA Networks Company (ARTERIA).
Representing Digital Edge’s third mission in Japan and fourth in North Asia since its inception in 2020, the acquisition will enhance the Firm’s regional footprint to a complete of six information facilities in 4 key metros. This footprint consists of three information facilities in Tokyo, one in Seoul, one in Busan, and the event of a 12MW facility in Osaka that's scheduled to open in Q1 2023. Upon the completion of all transactions in Japan and the opening of the Osaka facility, Digital Edge can have invested in extra of $265.61m (US$200m) to supply prospects greater than 5,300 cupboards of information heart capability.
