Rohit Sharma set the record of fastest T20 International Century

Team India’s ‘hitman’ Rohit Sharma scored a century in 35 balls while batting stormily in the Indore T20 match against Sri Lanka on this day three years ago. On 22 December 2017, Rohit Sharma also equaled the world record of David Miller’s fastest century in T20 International. The ICC tweeted that Rohit remembered that blazing inning.

Let me tell you that before Rohit Sharma, on 29 October 2017, African star David Miller scored a century in just 35 balls against Bangladesh. After 2 months, Rohit equaled this record.

In this T20 International match played in Indore, Rohit had 97 runs in 34 balls till the end of 11 overs of Indian innings. Mathews came to bowl in the 12th over, on whose second ball Rohit completed his century in 35 balls with fours. Rohit Sharma scored 118 runs in 43 balls. Which included 12 fours and 10 sixes.
