Chandigarh, April 24: A person in Punjab was duped of Rs 22.65 lakh by merchants who offered him a horse that later solely turned out to be dyed black, the prized color in horses. Cloth service provider Ramesh Kumar from Sunam city in Sangrur district, in a police grievance, mentioned he was allegedly duped by horse merchants -- Jatinder Pal Singh Sekhon, Lakhwinder Singh, and Lachra Khan -- on the pretext of promoting him a Marwari breed stallion.

Police have registered a case of fraud in opposition to the accused. As per the police, the accused had cheated eight different folks by promoting pretend breed horses.
