Important rules related to player purchase
The maximum number of players in IPL teams can be 25, that is, no team can have more than 25 players. At the same time, he has to keep 18 players with him.
The maximum number of foreign players i.e. overseas players has also been fixed. Any foreign player can have up to 8 players. While in playing XI, any team can keep a maximum of 4 foreign players with them.

Through RTM i.e. Right to Match Card, the team can withdraw their player again, but for this he has to pay an amount equal to the largest bid made on the player. Any franchise can add up to five players to the team.
Like the previous season, the budget of the teams has been fixed at Rs 85 crore this time. That is, there will be no increase in the team’s budget.
Under the BCCI rules, it is mandatory for all teams to spend 75 percent (75%) of their total budget.

The Rajasthan team currently has 16 players (including five foreign players). In this IPL auction, the team has a total of nine players slots available. From which the team can also buy 3 foreign players.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB)
Bengaluru currently has the lowest number of players. The team has a total of 14 players, including only 5 overseas players. RCB has 11 players slots available during the IPL 2021 mini auction, in which the space for 3 foreign players is also vacant.
Sunrajers Hyderabad (SRH)
Hyderabad currently has the highest number of 22 players, out of which 7 are foreign players. There are only 3 slots available in this time’s bid for SRH, of which 1 foreign player slot is also included.
