Legendary actor Al Pacino, known for his role in classic movies like The Godfather, Scarface, The Irishman, and Sea of Love, is an Oscar winner. Despite his vast experience in the film industry, the East Harlem-born actor has surprisingly picked up just one Oscar.
Pacino's longtime colleague in the movie industry, Robert De Niro, also hails from New York City. The Greenwich Village-born actor won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in The Godfather Part II and another for Best Actor in 1980 for his impressive performance in Raging Bull.
