L&T Emerges Lowest Bidder For 3 Central Vista Buildings Construction

L&T has emerged as lowest bidder for setting up three buildings below Central Vista venture

Infrastructure agency Larsen & Toubro (L&T) Limited on Monday emerged because the lowest bidder for the development and upkeep of the primary three buildings of the Common Central Secretariat below the Central Vista redevelopment venture.

According to the Central Public Works Department's (CPWD) bid paperwork, L&T Limited quoted round Rs 3,141 crore, which is 3.47 per cent lower than the estimated price. The agency submitted a complete bid quantity of Rs 31,41,99,87,657.

NCC Ltd quoted the second lowest bid quantity of round Rs 3,318 crore for the venture, which was 1.94 per cent greater than the estimated price.

The bid paperwork present that Tata Projects Limited quoted round Rs 3,546 crore, which is 8.96 per cent greater than the estimated price.

These new buildings will come up on the plot the place the Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts is situated.

Tata Projects Limited is setting up a brand new parliament constructing whereas Shapoorji Pallonji and Company Limited is executing the redevelopment work of the Central Vista Avenue stretching from Rashtrapati Bhavan to India Gate.
