Kal Penn comes out as gay, announces engagement to long-term partner Josh

Actor-comedian Kal Penn has come out as homosexual and has revealed that he's engaged to Josh, his partner of 11 years, with whom he's planning a marriage. Penn, who is likely one of the most outstanding Indian-American actors in Hollywood, shared his story in an interview with the CBS Sunday Morning programme whereas selling his new tell-all memoir "You Can't Be Serious"."Josh and I've been collectively for 11 years. The movie spawned two sequels and he went on to star in Mira Nair's acclaimed household drama "The Namesake" (2006), the Fox series "House", and "Designated Survivor", the ABC present.The actor took a hiatus from performing to marketing campaign for President Barack Obama in 2012. He labored inside the administration within the workplace of public engagement, working to join Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
