Is Groot returning home to Planet X? Vin Diesel teases Marvel’s plan

Groot’s going home, of us…or so it appears. In a clip going viral on Twitter, Hollywood actor Vin Diesel tells Comicbook.com that the sentient tree is likely to be going again to his home, Planet X, in an upcoming movie.

While The Guardians Of The Galaxy have traversed quite a few planets (and virtually died doing so), they've by no means ventured close to Planet X. In the interview, Diesel stated, “You can ask Kevin Feige about the Groot story that he’s excited about. The return to Planet X.”

The F9 actor additionally talked about how the position of Groot was truly a ‘gift’ for his youngsters. He added that one of many primary causes for him to tackle the position of Groot was due to his son. “I played that character in part because Marvel sent over a book of Marvel characters, and my three-year-old son pointed at the tree.
