On Sunday morning, former West Indies fast bowler Ezra Moseley died in a car accident. He was hit by a car while riding a bicycle near the junction of Bridgetown, according to the news reported in the Barbados newspaper The Nation.

The 63-year-old Moseley played in two Tests and one ODI for the Windies team. Moseley made a first-class debut for England’s Glamorgan team before playing for Barbados.

Moseley’s international career could not progress due to a spectacular pace attack by the West Indies team. With Andy Roberts, Michael Holding, Joel Garner and Colin Croft, it was difficult for him to make a place in the playing eleven. At the same time, his career was reduced due to back injury.

Ezra Moseley returned to sign up for the controversial rebel tour of South Africa in 1982, after which West Indies cricket banned him for life. After the ban was lifted, he became the only member of the rebel tour of the West Indies team to be selected to play two Tests in the home series against England in 1990.
