New Delhi, March 24 (IANSlife): The first day of the Lakme Fashion Week in affiliation with FDCI witnessed a plethora of designs from each younger and established designers. It began with the 'INIFD launchpad' the place greater than twenty design college students showcased their versatile collections. Voluminous jackets, knitted sweaters, trendy lehengas and classic hats in principally blacks and ivories have been in focus.

The day ended with veteran designer JJ Valaya's present. The designer launched his new event put on model JJV. He mentioned, "This bridge-to-luxury brand is an environmental-friendly initiative. It retains the distinct signature of the Valaya ethos and yet is a modern label for the traveller who likes to be prepared for celebrations wherever they go." Actress Mrunal Thakur closed the present in an embroidered crop prime and skirt, accessorised with chunky jewelry.
