ERP rates to rise at 10 gantries

SINGAPORE: Digital Street Pricing (ERP) charges will likely be elevated at 10 gantries alongside the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE), Central Expressway (CTE) and Kallang-Paya Lebar Expressway (KPE) subsequent week to handle congestion throughout peak intervals, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) stated on Monday (Feb 15).

ERP charges at these gantries will likely be adjusted by S$1 with impact from Feb 22.

ERP fees will likely be reintroduced at three gantries on the AYE after Jurong City Corridor in direction of the town, on the KPE (ECP) after Defu Flyover and on the Southbound CTE auxiliary lane to PIE (Changi).

Prices will even be adjusted by S$1 on the gantry on Southbound CTE earlier than Braddell Street and the set of 4 gantries alongside the Southbound CTE after Braddell Street and PIE slip street into Southbound CTE.

Charges for different time intervals at beforehand introduced gantries will stay unchanged, LTA added.

LTA stated it will proceed to watch visitors speeds and congestion ranges carefully and assess if ERP charges must be additional adjusted.
