The lawsuit claims one of adult entertainment’s biggest names had been left ‘permanently disabled’ following treatment for a debilitating drug addiction at a Malibu rehab center.
Summit Malibu and its parent company Malibu Lighthouse Treatment Centers, LLC have now been sued by Emily Willis' family, according to The Mirror.
The complaint lists, 'abuse of a dependent adult, professional negligence, negligence and fraudulent business practices.
On January 27, 2024 she checked into the rehab center for treatment for a ketamine addiction.
Willis had “taken five to six grams each day” of the substance for a full year, resulting in significant side effects that included urinary incontinence and night terrors.
Court documents cited by the Daily Star state Willis had already been treated for major depressive disorder, anxiety disorder and PTSD, and was taking anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds.
Drug tests upon her arrival at the facility showed she did not show up positive for ketamine or any other drugs, and over the following days continued to test negative despite her ‘rapidly failing health.’

Final Words
Emily Willis' tragedy has led to a lawsuit against Summit Malibu and its parent company detailing negligence and misconduct in treating her addiction. Although she arrived at the program for ketamine addiction treatment, medical records show that she had tested negative for drugs both upon entering and during her entire time at the center, as her condition deteriorated extremely quickly. The abuse allegations, professional negligence, and fraudulent business practices point to possible lapses in care or a lack of reasonable treatment at the rehab facility.
