Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Thursday appealed to metal makers for assessing manufacturing prices and exploring potentialities of providing aid to small industries that use the commodity for manufacturing functions.

Speaking on the event, Mr Goyal mentioned that "special care of micro small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) needs to be taken for easier and cost effective supply of steel".
