Centre launched round 600 lakh tonnes of meals grains throughout the Coronavirus pandemic yr 2020-21 and 2021-22 beneath Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana (PMGKAY).
According to Ministry of Consumer Affairs knowledge, out of the 600 lakh tonnes of meals grains allotted to the scheme's beneficiaries throughout the interval, 400 lakh tonnes of shares had been lifted by states until July 14, 2021.
