BCCI needs softness in quarantine rule for Ishant Sharma and Rohit Sharma, request from BCCI to CA of Australian Cricket

BCCI officials have been quoted in the news of the Indian Express newspaper as saying that cricket Australia has been requested in relation to Rohit Sharma Injury and Ishant Sharma Injury. If allowed, Ishant and Rohit can be part of the team by reaching Australia just before the (India vs Australia Practice match).

The official said, “BCCI officials are in touch with Cricket Australia officials. Rohit and Ishant are being discussed in both. If there is a relaxation in the quarantine rules due to the corona virus, both can play in the second tour match. “

Ishant and Rohit were not selected in the Australia tour team due to injury. However, later both of them were told to give a place in the test team after becoming fully healthy. The news came a day before that both the cricketers would not be able to recover on time. Both are currently undergoing a rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore.
