The Cricket Association of India has elected Pragyan Ojha as its representative for the IPL Governing Council, a day before the BCCI annual general meeting. In this context, ICA President Ashok Malhotra stated that ICA directors have nominated Ojha to the IPL Governing Council.
Before that, Surinder Khanna was representing the Organization. He said that Surinder did a great job and we would like to give everyone a chance. Let the ICA Board of Directors take this decision in its general meeting on 19 December. Pragyan Ojha can now be seen doing important work for IPL.
It may be noted that Pragyan Ojha had said goodbye to his 13-year long international career on 21 February 2020 this year. Pragyan Ojha played his first Test match against Sri Lanka in Kanpur in 2009. In his international career, he played a total of 24 Tests, 18 ODIs and 4 T20 matches for India. At the same time, Pragyan had not played any Test match since 2013.
And after being out of the team for a long time, he finally decided to retire. Let us know that Pragyan has 113 in Tests, 21 in ODIs and 10 wickets in T20s. Pragyan Ojha contributed significantly to Team India as part of his international career. How will Pragyan Ojha find himself in the new responsibility remains to be seen.
