How to register for HDFC Net Banking

Below mentioned are the different ways to register for HDFC Net Banking:

  • Via ATM

Step 1: Visit the nearest HDFC ATM.

Step 2: Enter HDFC Bank Debit Card Number and ATM PIN.

Step 3: Select another option from the main screen.

Step 4: Select Net Banking Registration and click on confirm. 

Step 5: PIN for Net Banking will be sent via courier.

  • Via Online

For Resident Customers:

In the case of an Indian mobile number registered with the bank, below mentioned are the steps for registration:

Step 1: Enter Customer ID.

Step 2: Confirm the registered mobile number.

Step 3: Enter OTP received on the registered mobile number.

Step 4: Select and enter the debit card details.

Step 5: Set the IPIN.

Step 6: Login into HDFC Net banking using the newly set IPIN.

For Non-Resident Customers:

In the case of a non-resident customer having an international mobile number registered with the bank, below mentioned are the steps for registration:

Step 1: Open the net banking registration page.

Step 2: An OTP would be received on the registered mobile number and email id.   Enter both the OTP’s.

Step 3: Set an IPIN.

Step 4: Login into net banking using the customer ID and the new IPIN. 

  • Via Phone Banking

Below mentioned are the steps to register for Net banking via phone banking:

Step 1: Call on the HDFC phone banking number. Provide Customer ID and telephone identification number (TIN Number) or debit card and PIN.

Step 2: The phone banking agent will call to take the registration request.

Step 3: The IPIN will be couriered to the mailing address available with the bank within 5 working days.

  • Visit HDFC Branch

 Below mentioned are the steps to register for Net banking by visiting HDFC Branch:

Step 1: Download the net banking registration form (Individual or Corporate).

Step 2: Fill out the form and submit it to the nearest HDFC Bank Branch.

Step 3: The IPIN would be sent via courier to the mailing address in the bank records.
