2023 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Launched in India at Rs 55 Lakh

Mercedes-Benz has formally launched the C-Class in India beginning at Rs 55 Lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings for the car had begun in the nation forward of the launch. The new C-Class comes in three variants - C200, C220d and C300d. The C200 is powered by a 1.5-litre 4 cylinder petrol engine that produces 201 bhp of energy and 300Nm of peak torque. The C220d comes with a 2.0-litre 4 cylinder that generates 197 bhp of energy and a torque of 440Nm.

The C300d will get the identical engine as that of the C220d, producing 261 bhp of energy and 550Nm of peak torque. All variants come paired with a 9-speed automated transmission and mild-hybrid tech that includes an built-in starter generator with EQ Boost offering 15 BHP and 200 Nm of increase.
