2 children hospitalized after car crashes into Chapel Hill playground outside Northside Elementary School

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (WTVD) — Chapel Hill Police are investigating after a car crashed into a playground outside Northside Elementary School on Tuesday.Two children who have been on the playground have been injured and have been taken to UNC Hospitals. The driver was additionally taken to UNC for remedy.

Officials instructed ABC11 late Tuesday night time that the children and the driving force are all anticipated to get well.The wreck occurred about 4 p.m. when the car crashed by way of a fence and struck playground gear. There have been 20 children on the playground on the time of the crash.
